General Data has gained certification for ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Cincinnati, OH June 7, 2004 - General Data Company, Inc., an industry leader in barcode labeling and identification products and solutions, today announced it has successfully completed the Quality audit by Global Registrars, Inc. and has gained certification for ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Released in December 2000, ISO 9001:2000 is the latest version of the international Quality Management Standard ISO 9001. This standard includes eight quality management principles: customer-focused organization, leadership, involvement of qualified people, process approach, systems approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
